About the Author

The grandson of a sharecropper and son of a minister, Dan Rickard

reflects the homespun wisdom and unshakable truths with which

he was raised.

A licensed insurance agent since 1981, he has provided innovative

consulting and brokerage services to both private and publicly held

companies, helping to identify and mitigate health-care costs, and

works today for a international insurance brokerage firm. He has

also served in an advisory capacity and as a board member of

numerous insurance companies' agent advisory boards.
